The Cultural Routes through the Serra de Tramuntana provide information about the heritage and cultural values lying hidden in the streets and surroundings of the different towns in each municipality. The towns thus become little interpretation centres making their contribution to the values that formed the basis of its inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In short, the municipalities together make up a unique cultural landscape formed of pathways, hillside terraces and traditional constructions, a human footprint which in this case has not destroyed nature but has rather become a harmonious part of it, creating a space that is unique in the whole world.
