At the car park on kilometre 87.3, a signpost indicates the Camí de sa Costa path (GR 221), which links up with Es Rafal and Planícia estates. After a steep climb, an ingenious irrigation network can be seen that is no longer in use, featuring big irrigation ponds (1). After passing a series of houses, a cobbled path bordered by dry stone retaining walls leads to an old estate house known as Cases des Rafal (2), integrated in a watchtower. After crossing Sa Talaia hill, you can continue on to Cases de Planícia estate house (3), with panoramic views toward the horizon in the west. A fascinating route to follow is the Aljub des Cristians (4), through the woods of Planícia public estate.
