Estellencs: Boal de ses Serveres

At the exit to Estellencs is the old Andratx road, running parallel to the newer MA-10 to Andratx. Just a few metres along, you come to the harbour road (Camí des Port) and entrance to the cemetery. After winding up for a while, the road crosses Coll des Pi pass. Then it goes under the new road and links up with it at km 97, when there is a sign to a public area called Coma d’en Vidal and Boal de ses Serveres (1). This stretch of woodland was part of a big rural estate called Son Fortuny. The land was used for forestry, farming and livestock activities and it was purchased by the Consell de Mallorca as a leisure area. Close to the path leading to the little mountain refuge, there is an area once used by charcoal makers and a big threshing floor. Further on, you will come to a vantage point (2) with views of the Estellencs coast.
